Select one of the following options:
Leave. The system does nothing. Empty BOM pages
are left as is.
Delete only Rectangles. The system automatically
delete empty rectangles (without BOM text). The
document page, one which box was located, and the
fragment title block remain and can be deleted
manually.
Delete Pages. Empty BOM text boxes are deleted, as
well as their respective fragment title block and the
document page, on which those were located.
The additional flags in the group “Do not ask in future” allow setting the selected mode for the rest of time
working with this BOM or for the rest of the current T-FLEX CAD session.
Setting Positions in Assembly
When setting positions in an assembly, use the command “BL: Create Leader Note as BOM Position”:
Keyboard Textual Menu Icon
“Tools|Bill of Materials|Position”
Leader notes are set using the leader note creation mechanism (the text string next to the leader automatically
includes the position number of the selected BOM record) or by adding a leader to an existing note. Upon
caling the command, the following options become available in the automenu:
Show BOM Record Selection Window
Positions from BOM
Exit command
The option controls the position number marshaling between the BOM table and the respective leader
notes in the assembly. This icon is turned on by default. In this case, the numbers of positions being set are
taken from the column “Position” and, respectively, from the rows of the selected fragments. If the number
of records or sorting rules change, the record position numbers are adjusted in the BOM. Consequently, upon
executing the command “BRP: Refresh BOM Leader Note Positions”, the leader notes adjust in the
assembly. When setting positions in this mode, the position number is entered in double braces in the
parameter “On Leader”.
With this option turned off, the position number will be marshaled from the leader note into the BOM. This
means, upon selecting a record in the BOM table, the user manually enters the position number in the leader
note parameter “On Leader”. Then, upon executing the command “BRA: Refresh Bills of Materials and
Leader Note Positions”, the number will appear in the “Position” entry in the respective row of the
BOM. (As a result, the position numbers may appear ordered in the drawing; however, in the BOM the
position numbers will appear randomly.) When setting positions in this mode, the position number is entered
without double braces in the leader note parameter “On Leader”.
