By using this example we have reviewed the main steps of creating databases in T-FLEX CAD. Now, let's
review the full set of the database editor commands.
Database Editor Commands
Any available command can be called by one of the following means: from the textual menu, via the icons in
the toolbar, or by pressing the appropriate key combination on the keyboard. All available commands can be
found in the textual menu. The commands in the textual menu are grouped by their purposes. The group
“File” includes the commands for managing the database itself : creating a new one, loading an existing one,
saving and deleting, as well as the command for exiting the editor.
Create new database
Keyboard Textual Menu Icon
“File|New Database”
Allows creating a new internal database or a database by reference.
Open internal database
Keyboard Textual Menu Icon
“File|Open Internal Database”
of all existing databases in the current drawing. The databases by reference are marked with an asterisk.
Open external database
Keyboard Textual Menu Icon
“File|Open External Database”
the standard dialog box for opening files.
Save Database
Keyboard Textual Menu Icon
“File|Save”
Saves the changes to the current database. The data is saved in the same format as the one used when loading
the database .
Save Database As Internal
Keyboard Textual Menu Icon
“File|Save As Internal
Database”
