Construction Entities
By “line”, we mean infinite lines that belong to construction entities and serve as the parametric framework
of a drawing. Lines are displayed as thin dashed lines.
Constructing Lines
To construct a line, call the command “L: Construct Line”:

The following options become available:
If selected prior to any other selection, sets default line
parameters. Otherwise, defines parameters of the
construction line being currently created.
Creates two crossing lines and a node at the intersection
point
Creates horizontal line
Creates vertical line
Selects related line for constructing a parallel line
Selects a node for the line to pass through
Selects tangent circle
Selects tangent ellipse
Selects tangent spline
Constructs a line through the selected node, orthogonal to
the selected line
Creates Proportional Line
Create Axis of Symmetry
Selects a symmetry axis (a line)
Selects 2D projection
