foundry tour introduction Welcome to the Lodge Cast Iron Cookware Foundry in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Founded in 1896 by Joseph Lodge, we’re the sole domestic manufacturer of cast iron cookware, and the oldest family-owned cookware company in the country. Unlike other cookware, cast iron gets better with constant use. But before you start cooking, we’ve got a lot of hard work to do.
