There are predom<strong>in</strong><strong>an</strong>tly 2 areas with<strong>in</strong> the hotel that are available to hire.<br />

The Alcove is adjacent to the bar <strong>an</strong>d is suitable <strong>for</strong> groups of up to 50 <strong>in</strong> a cocktail style function. This<br />

area is complimented by its own fireplace <strong>an</strong>d French doors open<strong>in</strong>g out onto the courtyard.<br />

The fee to hire this area is $100.<br />

The Back Bar c<strong>an</strong> accommodate approximately 110 people <strong>an</strong>d is ideal <strong>for</strong> <strong>an</strong>y celebration. This area<br />

has groovy décor <strong>an</strong>d a large screen where <strong>you</strong> c<strong>an</strong> view <strong>you</strong>r own DVD’s.<br />

This room has its own music selection with the latest tracks <strong>an</strong>d artists.<br />

The fee to hire this area is $200.<br />

*M<strong>in</strong>imum spend on Friday <strong>an</strong>d Saturday required <strong>in</strong> this area. Contact the venue <strong>for</strong> details<br />

Confirm<strong>in</strong>g YOUR book<strong>in</strong>g<br />

A book<strong>in</strong>g is considered Confirmed once the Room Hire has been paid; <strong>an</strong>d a signed Terms <strong>an</strong>d<br />

Conditions (T&C) have been returned to <strong>you</strong>r Function Co-ord<strong>in</strong>ator. The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g will notify <strong>you</strong><br />

on receipt of T&C, Room Hire payment <strong>an</strong>d confirm that <strong>you</strong>r book<strong>in</strong>g has been approved.<br />

F<strong>in</strong>al payment is due at the end of <strong>you</strong>r function <strong>an</strong>d c<strong>an</strong> be paid by cash, credit card or EFTPOS.<br />

Un<strong>for</strong>tunately, The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g does not accept cheques.<br />

Please be aware that The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g is a responsible server of alcohol <strong>an</strong>d will not serve <strong>an</strong>yone<br />

that we perceive to be <strong>in</strong>toxicated or under the legal age of 18. Children are welcome to the Capta<strong>in</strong><br />

Stirl<strong>in</strong>g Hotel <strong>an</strong>d must be directly supervised by a parent or legal guardi<strong>an</strong>.<br />

Function Food<br />

The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g is able to offer a r<strong>an</strong>ge of options <strong>for</strong> <strong>you</strong>r function food. You c<strong>an</strong> choose from our<br />

function platter menu, a la carte menu or set menus. Or we c<strong>an</strong> work with <strong>you</strong> to tailor make a set menu<br />

to suit <strong>you</strong>r budget & taste.<br />

For cater<strong>in</strong>g purposes all food requirements <strong>for</strong> the function must be f<strong>in</strong>alised 4 days prior to <strong>you</strong>r<br />

function. For Set Menu functions, f<strong>in</strong>al numbers must be confirmed 48 hours prior to <strong>you</strong>r function <strong>an</strong>d<br />

this is the number <strong>you</strong> will be billed <strong>for</strong>.<br />

Beverage<br />

As a member of the Western Accord <strong>an</strong>d Responsible Servers of Alcohol the Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g is unable to<br />

offer <strong>an</strong>y discounted rates <strong>for</strong> beverages. However our extensive r<strong>an</strong>ge of draught beers, w<strong>in</strong>es & spirits<br />

are reasonably priced <strong>an</strong>d offers several choices <strong>for</strong> <strong>an</strong>y budget.<br />

All dr<strong>in</strong>ks are charged on a consumption basis with variety of bar tab options <strong>for</strong> <strong>you</strong>r guest exclusively<br />

or they c<strong>an</strong> purchase dr<strong>in</strong>ks over the bar.<br />

The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g Hotel also has accommodation at excellent rates <strong>for</strong> out of town guests or those<br />

wish<strong>in</strong>g to avoid a long drive home; we have s<strong>in</strong>gle rooms, doubles, a family room <strong>an</strong>d <strong>an</strong> executive<br />

1.1 Only beverages purchased on the premises may be consumed on these premises. You are not permitted to br<strong>in</strong>g<br />

beverages on the property, nor consume beverages purchased through our on-site retail outlet.<br />

No food may be brought on site without the prior consent of the Venue M<strong>an</strong>ager.<br />

1.3 Food & beverages purchased at The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g BAR are strictly <strong>for</strong> consumption on the premises. No food or<br />

beverage may be taken home <strong>for</strong> consumption.<br />

1.4 The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g <strong>an</strong>d its staff are responsible servers of alcohol. If, <strong>in</strong> the op<strong>in</strong>ion of the venue, <strong>you</strong> or <strong>an</strong>y of <strong>you</strong>r<br />

guests are deemed to be <strong>in</strong>toxicated, argumentative <strong>an</strong>d/or aggressive, they c<strong>an</strong> be refused service <strong>an</strong>d/or asked to leave the<br />

venue immediately.<br />

1.5 All persons attend<strong>in</strong>g the venue must be able to provide adequate identification or proof of age on request at <strong>an</strong>y time.<br />

A current passport, West Australi<strong>an</strong> proof of age card or Australi<strong>an</strong> drivers licence is the only acceptable <strong>for</strong>m of identification <strong>in</strong><br />

Western Australia.<br />

1.6 The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g has conditions <strong>in</strong> our tavern licence that prohibits <strong>an</strong>yone to be immodestly or <strong>in</strong>decently dressed,<br />

take part <strong>in</strong>, undertake or per<strong>for</strong>m <strong>an</strong>y activity or enterta<strong>in</strong>ment on licensed premises that is of a lewd or <strong>in</strong>decent m<strong>an</strong>ner. This<br />

<strong>in</strong>cludes ‘R’ rated mov<strong>in</strong>g pictures, contractors, employees or <strong>an</strong>y patrons. Any breach of this condition will result <strong>in</strong> the<br />

immediate conclusion of the event/function <strong>an</strong>d no refunds of prepayments, room hire, deposits, foods or beverage will be<br />

applicable.<br />

2. Room Hire <strong>an</strong>d Payment Policy<br />

2.1 Confirmation of <strong>you</strong>r book<strong>in</strong>g will be deemed complete on receipt of room hire payment <strong>an</strong>d a signed copy of the<br />

Terms & Conditions. We do not accept tentative book<strong>in</strong>gs. The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g will notify <strong>you</strong> of payment received <strong>an</strong>d confirm<br />

that <strong>you</strong>r book<strong>in</strong>g has been approved.<br />

2.2 Payment <strong>in</strong> full is required at the completion of the function. Cash <strong>an</strong>d all credit cards are accepted. Other methods of<br />

payment need prior approval <strong>an</strong>d must be authorised by the Venue M<strong>an</strong>ager.<br />

2.3 You, the undersigned, will be deemed responsible <strong>an</strong>d held liable <strong>for</strong> the costs of repairs <strong>for</strong> <strong>an</strong>y damage caused by<br />

<strong>you</strong>rself or <strong>you</strong>r guests dur<strong>in</strong>g the function.<br />

2.4 Food <strong>an</strong>d beverage prices are subject to ch<strong>an</strong>ge without notice. Please check close to the date <strong>for</strong> set prices on <strong>an</strong>y<br />

C<strong>an</strong>cellation Policy<br />

More th<strong>an</strong> one (1) week prior to date of function – Refund of room hire.<br />

Less th<strong>an</strong> one (1) week prior to date of function – No refund.<br />

The number of guests attend<strong>in</strong>g <strong>you</strong>r function must be confirmed at least 72 hours prior to the event.<br />

All food menus <strong>an</strong>d dr<strong>in</strong>k requirements must be confirmed at least 72 hours prior to the event.<br />

Smok<strong>in</strong>g Policy<br />

The <strong>in</strong>door areas of the Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g are all non-smok<strong>in</strong>g. By law, smok<strong>in</strong>g areas are located <strong>in</strong> the courtyard only.<br />

Best Service Policy<br />

The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g will endeavour to provide <strong>you</strong>r required services, cont<strong>in</strong>gent on be<strong>in</strong>g able to do so. The Capta<strong>in</strong> Stirl<strong>in</strong>g<br />

will not accept <strong>an</strong>y liability <strong>in</strong> the case of bus<strong>in</strong>ess <strong>in</strong>terruption, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g, not but limited to, labour disputes, major mech<strong>an</strong>ical<br />
