- Examples
• A supervisor picked on a bad wording, while I was
telling about a difficult patient.
• A controlling supervisor looking for errors. She
winded, played and stopped my tape recordings
at random and asked in an almost inquisitorial
way why I intervened as I did.
• A very discontent and critical psychologist
• The supervisor was impatient, critical,
judgmental, which made me feel incompetent
and shameful – and even worse – it had a
negative impact on the therapy.
