County Services Committee Lee County,Illinois 3rd Floor Old Courthouse,May 8, 2007 Members Present: Chairman Bernie Buckley, Charlie Dunphy, Marilyn Shippert, Marvin Williams and Greg Witzleb Also Present: Brant Scheidecker, and Chris Henkel. Chairman Buckley called the meeting to order at 4:05 pm. The following claims were submitted and approved: Computer Services $9608.56 GIS Recording $63.41 GIS Capital Projects $ 37,191.91 There was a discussion concerning the increase in the GIS Recording fee. The consensus was to hold off action on this for several months due to the pending increases by the LCHD and Animal Control. Brant stated that he will be checking with all offices in the near future concerning licensing of their software. In addition, he reported that the flights for the aerial photos took place in April. He will be reviewing proofs of the photos as soon as they are available. Chris presented the Zoning claims of $494.58 which were approved. Chris gave a report that the zoning petition 06-P-1433 (Haliczer, Willow Creek Township) voted on last month by the County Board required only a simple majority so it passed on the 20-8 vote. Zoning did not meet this month, so the following petitions will be heard on June 7, 2007. TO ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS PETITION 07-P-1436: ROY GRANDT AND STEVEN HALICZER, WILLOW CREEK TOWNSHIP, SECTION 11. REZONE APPROXIMA TEL Y 4 ACRES FROM AG-I TO R-I RURAL RESIDENTIAL FOR THE PURPOSE OF A RURAL SUBDIVISION. PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WILLOW CREEK ROAD APPROXIMA TEL Y Y2MILE WEST OF WOODLAWN ROAD. PETITION 07-P-1439: FELIX VILLA, VIOLA TOWNSHIP, SECTION 23. REZONE APPROXIMATELY .65 ACRES FROM C-3 TO C-3 SPECIAL USE FOR THE PURPOSE OF AN AUTO SALES BUSINESS. PROPERTY IS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF ILL. ROUTE 251 APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET SOUTH OF ILL ROUTE 30.

PROPERTY IS LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF ROCK ISLAND ROAD AND NELSON ROAD, IN NELSON TOWNSHIP, SECTIONS 29 AND 32. The only petition going to plan commission this month was withdrawn for the month by the petitioner, so it will be on the agenda at the June meeting.
