Belton House near Grantham
Built in 1685-89 for the young Sir John Brownlow, Belton is
a fine example of a restored National Trust country house.
The grounds include a landscaped park, gardens, a lakeside
walk and children’s adventure playground.
Many events are held throughout the year such as horse
trials, open air concerts and an Easter trail.
Also worth a visit is the nearby Belton Garden Centre.

Tattershall Castle near Coningsby
This dramatic 15th century red brick tower, surrounded by
a moat, has spectacular views across the fens. It was built for
Ralph Cromwell Lord Treasurer for England 1433-1443. This
building was restored by Lord Curzon between 1911 and 1914.
Now open to the public and owned by the National Trust.

Battle of Britain Visitor Centre
near Coningsby
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight exhibition is home to
several historically important aircrafts including one of only
two flying Lancaster Bombers, five Spitfires, two Hurricanes,
two Chipmunks and a Dakota.
The visitors centre offers a combination of permanent and
temporary galleries, guided tours and a visitors shop.
