Visitor Attractions Lincoln Cathedral Lincoln Cathedral is one of the finest medieval buildings in Europe, which towers above Lincoln and is a prominent landmark for miles around. Home to the famous Lincoln Imp the sheer size of this fantastic building, with its stained glass windows and organ are a breathtaking sight for any visitor to Lincoln. The Castle and Cathedral are both accessible by foot, from Lincoln bus station/rail station or alternatively there is a Walk and Ride bus service which operates between Uphill and Downhill Lincoln. The Museum of Lincolnshire Life The Museum of Lincolnshire Life illustrates the social history of Lincolnshire from 1750 to the present day. The exhibits focus on Lincolnshire’s industrial and cultural past and there are many steam engines and agricultural machines to see. The walls of the castle offer a bird’s eye view of Lincoln and the surrounding Bailgate, with the best being from the top of the Observatory Tower, as on a clear day you can see Boston Stump in the distance.
