SmartPly is a good alternative to plywood because it doesn’t delaminate, has no<br />
knotholes or other structural defects, is easy to work with and is less expensive.<br />
It’s bonded with waterproof glue for exterior use and is ideal for a wide range of<br />
uses. There are two grades of SmartPly:<br />
• smartPly 2, a general purpose building panel manufactured to EN300<br />
standard. It is recommended for general non-structural building purposes<br />
and structural applications in dry conditions. It is ideal for general hoarding,<br />
signboards, furniture, temporary framework and much more.<br />
• smartPly 3, a strong, versatile board suitable for structural use in humid<br />
conditions. It is ideal for use in a range of applications including roofing,<br />
flooring and hoarding. This product is also approved for structural use by the<br />
BBA, IAB, KOMO, NHBC and Local Authority Building Inspectors.<br />
smartPly siteProtect is a durable coated panel specifically for site hoarding and<br />
security applications, designed to save both time and money. SiteProtect uses<br />
the SmartPly OSB3 board coated with a smooth heavy duty exterior surface<br />
treatment which does not need to be primed. Logos can be fixed directly to the<br />
board and if colour is required can be painted with fewer coats needed.<br />
All SmartPly products are FSC certified and are supported by environmental<br />
groups including Greenpeace and WWF.<br />
