Timbmet offers a range of performance doors and doorblanks suitable for a variety of applications. Our range includes products<br />
with a choice of core, substrate and facing options suitable for internal or external use and capable of achieving various fire<br />
ratings, acoustic performance levels and other performance requirements. FSC certified products are given preferential status<br />

All fire doors within our range are tested to BS476 Part 22 and most fire rated products within our<br />
range are BM Trada Q-Mark approved. All fire, mechanical performance, acoustic and thermal<br />

Fsc halsPan soliD chiPBoaRD DooRBlanks<br />
Halspan is a range of chipboard doorblanks FD30 and FD60 fire rated for interior use. Halspan are tested to BS476 Part 22<br />
and are approved within BM TRADA Q-Mark Third Party Certification Schemes.<br />
Halspan products have a three layer particleboard construction manufactured using materials which are FSC chain of custody<br />
certified (FSC 70% Mixed Sources).<br />
Halspan has achieved a ‘severe duty’ rating when tested to the mechanical performance requirements of DD171. Acoustic<br />
performance data is also available.<br />
There are many applications in which Halspan Optima and Halspan Prima doorblanks can be incorporated and guidance for<br />
the product suitability of each type can be found within the Halspan technical specification manual.<br />

Component sets are available comprising of a Halspan 64mm thick doorblank, an intumescent set and an essential<br />
ironmongery pack to enable fabricators to produce FD90 and FD120 doorsets. Ironmongery finishes include Brushed Stainless<br />
Steel (FD90+FD120), Simulated Brushed Steel (FD90 only) and Bright Zinc Plated (FD90 only). With prices for component sets<br />
starting at £250 for FD90 and £475 for FD120, these sets offer an extremely cost effective solution where high performance<br />
