This letter will provide in<strong>for</strong>mation to you<br />
about your spring advising options and course<br />
registration procedures.<br />
Note: Deposited students are expected to<br />
complete academic advising prior to their<br />
assigned registration date. You will have the<br />
option of receiving advising online or in person.<br />

Although advising is only required <strong>for</strong><br />
incoming high school students who have<br />
graduated in 2012, academic advising is<br />
recommended <strong>for</strong> all incoming students.<br />
You must schedule an appointment with an<br />
academic advisor or participate in online<br />
advising prior to course registration.<br />

If you need to complete the Math Placement<br />
Test, you can do so online. For more in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />

All new, deposited students will be assigned<br />
a specific date and time when they can begin<br />
registering <strong>for</strong> courses. Those dates will be<br />
available on WebAdvisor beginning in January.<br />

<strong>Spring</strong> Semester Billing Statement will be<br />
e-mailed to your <strong>Chapman</strong> e-mail account. You<br />
will receive a billing statement that details tuition<br />
and other changes <strong>for</strong> the upcoming semester at<br />
the month end in which you register. Please note<br />
that the tuition and fee payment <strong>for</strong> the spring<br />
semester is due December 31, 2012.<br />

Although not required, this program is strongly<br />
encouraged <strong>for</strong> both incoming high school and<br />
transfer students. Participation will help you<br />
familiarize yourself with the academic and social<br />
aspects of <strong>Chapman</strong> <strong>University</strong>. Students living<br />
on campus will check into their residence halls as<br />
well. Mailings regarding Orientation will start to<br />
go out in late December/early January with<br />
