4) ILLEGAL OPERATOR.<br />

The operation code is either incorrect or not placed in the proper<br />

columns of the CTT card. When the condition is corrected, start the<br />

computer.<br />

5) ILLEGAL JOB NUMBER.<br />

A job number is greater than two digits, job numbers are not properly<br />

separated by punctuation, or the first job number does not begin in<br />

column 34 of the CTT card.<br />

6) ILLEGAL TAPE FORMAT.<br />

The components of the From and/or the To tape format(s) are improperly<br />

represented by the letter codes or the letter codes are placed incorrectly<br />

in the columns of the CTT card.<br />

7) INCORRECT CTT CARD.<br />

This typeout occurs after ILLEGAL JOB NUMBER, ILLEGAL OPERATOR, and<br />

ILLEGAL TAPE FORMAT. It also occurs when the job number field<br />

of a CTT card is not terminated by a period or when any information on<br />

a CTT card is placed in an incorrect column. When the condition is<br />

corrected, initialize the card reader and start the computer.<br />

8) BAD INPUT TAPE.<br />

NO RECOVERY.<br />

This typeout indicates that the input tape is in error, and a new<br />

input tape is required. If any manual manipulation of tape units is<br />

necessary, the CART program must be reinitiated. Otherwise, restart<br />

the computer.<br />

9) MTU ERROR.<br />

IMPROPER CONDITION.<br />

Correct an improper conOltlOn on the tape transports that are designated<br />

in the From and To tape fields on the CTT card. If the position of<br />

any tapes being used is changed manually, the CART program must be<br />

reinitiated. Otherwise, restart the computer.<br />

10) MID ERROR.<br />

INPUT TIMING ERROR.<br />

NO RECOVERY.<br />

The requirements for correction of this condition are the same as<br />

specified for BAD INPUT TAPE.<br />

11 ) MTU ERROR.<br />

OUTPUT TIMING ERROR.<br />

NO RECOVERY.<br />

This typeout indicates a problem within CART or incorrect hardware<br />

operation. The input tape is not in error.<br />
