New Castle, via Pennsylvania Lines at the following
round trip fares: To Erie, $3.00; to Conneaut
Lake, $2.50; to Ashtabula, $2.50; to North liiast,
$3.25. Return limit includes Monday, permitting
Over-Sunday outings at lake resorts. Excursion
tickets to Erie and Ashtabula also sold for Sunday
morning train. Half fares for children from
five to twelve years of age.
A seam of coal which had been lost to the proprietors
for 50 years has been located near Glace
Bay, C. B. It is controlled by the Dominion Coal
Co., and is said to contain 700,000,000 tons of minable
coal.
