Step 2. Eligibility Tab OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR – THE STATE OF TEXAS After selecting a funding opportunity, you are directed to the “Eligibility” tab. Only two tabs are displayed at the top of this page. Additional tabs will display as you progress through the application process. Enter your 9-digit State Payee Identification Number assigned to your Agency by the State Comptroller’s Office. If you are applying for a continuation of an existing grant, enter the existing grant number.
