Ladies Night at the Movies, International
Playgroup, which met at Rinconada Park in Palo
Alto, and “Stanford Sporty Spouses”, which met
for tennis in Escondido Village.
- Summer classes, included 2 crafts classes (Origami and
Japanese Calligraphy -Introduction to the Art of
Brush Writing), Portuguese, Yoga, and Modern
Dance with a Funky Twist.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:
• Within NAFSA: Association of International
Educators
- Served on the Cooperative Grants
Committee (which selects recipients
of grants funded by the U.S.
Department of State for the purpose
of enriching educational exchange
through student community
linkages).
- Presented a session at the national
conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Served on Hugh Jenkins Award
Selection Committee of the
Community Programming Section
(COMSEC) of NAFSA.
• Served on Advisory Committee, Senior Fulbright
Scholars (Bay Area).
