2001-2002 MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL REFUELING & MAINTENANCE DIRECTORY FOR COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG) FORWORD This directory of compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling stations and maintenance facilities has been sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, Philadelphia Regional Office to assist and support all of the Clean Cities Coalitions, fleet operators, and other alternative fuels stakeholders and activities in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This directory contains CNG refueling stations and maintenance facilities for the states covered by the Philadelphia Regional Office, including Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia, in addition to the key border states of New York (covered by the Boston Regional Office) and Ohio (covered by the Chicago Regional Office). There are currently eight designated Clean Cities Coalitions in the Mid-Atlantic Region: Greater Philadelphia, Delaware, Metropolitan Washington DC, Metropolitan Baltimore, West Virginia, Pittsburgh Region, Hampton Roads, and North Jersey. These local Coalitions are made up of the major public, private, and nonprofit sector stakeholders advancing the alternative fuels market through various activities, including stakeholder meetings, fleet manager workshops, funding opportunities, training sessions, technical events, public outreach, and media campaigns.
