Wedding Bells This page is dedicated to the members of the Class of 2006 who have gotten married or become engaged! Rice Wedding Betsy Lucas ‘06 was married to Peter Rice (Thayer ‘06) on June 24, 2006 in Lyme, N.H.. The ceremony at Lyme Congregational Church was led by the Rev. Rebecca Segers, former associate pastor of Wilton Presbyterian Church, and Craig Parker, head of the Navigators Christian Fellowship at Dartmouth College. Betsy and Peter’s reception followed at Dowd’s Country Inn, also in Lyme. The maid of honor was Rebeckah Groves ‘06. The bridesmaids included several other 06s, Melissa Fish, Caitlin Reiner and Rebecca Wehrly. The groom’s cousin, Nate Sigworth (Dartmouth ‘07), served as best man. The couple spent their honeymoon in Washington state, and they currently reside in Arlington, VA. Bride and good praciticed scuba diving during their honeymoon in Hawaii. Cate Birtley and Nick DeJulio were married the evening of July 18, 2008 in an herb garden at Willows Lodge in Woodinville, WA, a lodge near Cate’s parents’ home north of Seattle. Cate and Nick honeymooned in Hawaii before moving to New York, where Cate is in law school at NYU and Nick continues to work for Oliver Wyman.

Sholten & Powell Wedding Kate Sholten ‘06 and Jeff Powell ‘06 were married on May 19, 2007 in Winnetka, IL. There were a number of our classmates in the wedding party, including groomsmen Rance Brooks and Matt Gens and bridesmaids Taylor Grant, Rose McClendon, and Lizzy Rauner. Kate and Jeff now live in Chicago. Jeff and Kate pose post-wedding festivities in Winnetka. Announcements and Achievements Winter 2009 - Page 5 Classmate Dan Shula ‘06 and wife Kristy welcomed first son, Logan, on May 26th. Weighing in 7 lbs., 3 oz., we can only imagine how big he’s gotten.
