Pat Loughrey, former Director of BBC Nations and Regions,
launches the Centre for Media Research Spring Seminar Series.
Recently appointed Warden at Goldsmiths, University of London
and currently Visiting Professor of Media Studies at Ulster, he will
discuss how confidence and trust in public service broadcasting
has been undermined in recent times and what should be done
in order to restore that trust.

Takeshi Yasuda is currently director of the Porcelain Pottery Workshop in
Jingdezhen, China. He is one of the foremost potters of the last twenty-five
years, currently working in porcelain and celadon. His work is in galleries
and museum collections throughout the world.
Felicity Aylieff’s work crosses the boundaries of ceramics and sculpture.
The large clay pieces are a result of ongoing personal enquiry into material
and form, and although the work has moved into a more sculptural realm,
its roots in pottery remain fundamental.
