Belfast vocal hero Ken Haddock has been one
of the province’s most talked about singers for
the past ten years. He bridges the pop, blues
and jazz world with a powerful voice and a
complex guitar approach that compliments his
natural musicality. Joining him for this lunchtime
concert is leading Irish trumpeter and BBC
broadcaster Linley Hamilton, who has worked
with Van Morrison and Paul Brady among others,
and Irish jazz star David Lyttle on double bass,
who returns in March to play on his primary
instrument, the drum.

The fresh, lilting music of The Four Seasons has made it
Vivaldi’s most famous work. Its bold imaginative writing
offers the sounds of chattering teeth, barking dogs and
fierce storms.
David Adams brings these violin concertos to life. With the
Ulster Orchestra he also features more great music from
the baroque era, including some of Handel’s Water Music,
Purcell’s Trumpet Overture and Bach’s Concerto for violin
and oboe, BWV 1060.
