OTHER STATUTORY INFORMATION a) At the date of this report, the directors are not aware of any circumstances not otherwise dealt with in this report or the financial statements of the Group and of the Company which would render any amount stated in the financial statements misleading. b) In the opinion of the directors, (i) the results of the operations of the Group and of the Company during the financial year were not substantially affected by any item, transaction or event of a material and unusual nature; and (ii) there has not arisen in the interval between the end of the financial year and the date of this report any item, transaction or event of a material and unusual nature likely to affect substantially the results of the operations of the Group and of the Company for the financial year in which this report is made. STATEMENT BY DIRECTORS We, Dato’ Syed Abu Hussin bin Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal and Iskandar Ibrahim, being directors of Gunung Capital Berhad, do hereby state on behalf of the directors that in our opinion, the accompanying financial statements of the Group and of the Company as set out on pages 42 to 96 are properly drawn up in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and the requirements of the Companies Act, 1965 in Malaysia so as to give a true and fair view of the financial position of the Group and of the Company as at 31 December 2012 and of the results and cash flows of the Group and of the Company for the financial year ended on that date. The supplementary information as set out in Note 42 is prepared in accordance with Guidance on Special Matter No. 1, Determination of Realised and Unrealised Profits or Losses in the Context of Disclosure pursuant to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Listing Requirements, as issued by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the directive of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
