series more masculine and athletic. Other contributing factors<br />
include the modified proportions: the vehicle is now<br />
15 mm wider than the W164, while the roof height has<br />
been lowered by 19 mm.<br />
Key elements of the M-<strong>Class</strong> exterior design include:<br />
• Elongated lines of the side view emphasise the on-road<br />
character<br />
• Design cast from a single mould with continuous tail<br />
lights and flowing transition from the rear side windows<br />
to the rear window<br />
