Current Topic Displays the Help topic for the currently active
dialog box or window. Pressing F1 or clicking
also displays help for the topic. F1
functionality (context sensitivity) depends on the
window/dialog box name matching that of the
Help topic. You must use the Index to display
Help topics with names other than that of
windows and dialog boxes.
Table of Contents Displays the Help window with the TOC tab
displayed in the Contents/Index/ Search/
Favorites pane.
Search for Help On… Displays the Help window with the Index tab
displayed in the Contents/Index/Search/
Favorites pane.
Use the Index tab to search for a topic. You can
type the first few letters of the word you are
looking for, or use the scroll box to search for a
topic. Click the button to display the
topic once you locate it within the index list.
How to Use Help Displays the Help window with the Using Online
Help topic displayed in the Information pane.
This topic explains the features of the Help
system.
About Displays the About dialog box, which contains
copyright and system information. The About
dialog box also provides access to the Registration
dialog box.
Pain Management Optional: provides information from the Clinical
Practice Guideline on Management of Cancer
Pain, developed by a private sector panel of health
care providers and consumers. Selected evaluation
and pain management aspects for adults with
cancer pain are available. Topics covered include
initial assessment, pharmacologic treatment,
medication administration, medications' side
effects, adjuvant medications, cognitivebehavioral
interventions, and discussion of other
more invasive palliative techniques.
