leaf blade oblong to obovate-oblong, 10–20 × 2.2–4.3 cm,<br />

slightly fleshy or leathery, apex obtuse. Scape from base of<br />

pseudobulb, erect, 19–26 cm; raceme shortened, umbel-like,<br />

often 3–5-flowered; peduncle 2–3 mm in diam., with 3 or 4<br />

tubular sheaths 8–13 mm; floral bracts lanceolate, ca. 5 mm,<br />

apex acuminate. Pedicel and ovary ca. 2.2 mm. Flowers widely<br />

opening, with yellow and purplish spotted sepals and petals and<br />

8–9 × ca. 8 mm, base adnate to column foot, apex mucronate.<br />

Petals ovate-lanceolate, 4–5 × ca. 3 mm, entire, aristate;<br />

lip strongly recurved, ligulate, ca. 5 × 3 mm, fleshy, base<br />

attached to end of column foot by a mobile joint, apex truncate.<br />

decurved. Column stout, with nearly suborbicular wings;<br />

5 mm, fleshy, base grooved, attached to end of column foot, immobile,<br />

its base; foot ca. 5 mm, with free part ca. 3 mm; stelidia ca. 3<br />

with apical thread; lip recurved, ligulate, 4–6.5 mm, attached to<br />

end of column foot, immobile. Column yellowish green, 2–3<br />

mm; foot ca. 4 mm; stelidia ± twisted and thinly clavate, ca. 2<br />

mm; anther cap subglobose, with comblike teeth at apex. Fl.<br />

Jul–Oct. 2n = 38.<br />
