Information on Right To Information Version 05.11 6 Vigilance & Monitoring Committee Chairman State Level : Chief Minister District Level : MP 7 State Level Committee for SGSY (Headed by Chief Secretary) The Committee was constituted both at the State and District Levels to monitor and evaluate the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes at the State and District Level. 1. To provide leadership and guidance in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the Programme. 2. To review the district-wise progress under SGSY, and suggest remedial actions. 3. To monitor and evaluate the implementation of the programme with reference to the objectives of the programme. 4. To review the involvement of reputed NGOs in the SGSY and provide directions if necessary. 5. To provide a forum for a meaningful dialogue between the policy makers at the state level and the implementers at the field level as well as the bankers 6. The Committee was constituted both at the<br />
