The decision making in respect of the department is vested with the Director.<br />

Files relating to administrative matters other than the Schemes/<br />

Projects are generally processed initially at the level of LDAs/ UDAs who submit<br />

the files to Superintendent/ Registrar who in turn submit the file to Joint Director<br />

(Administration) and to Addl. Director. The Addl. Director submit files to the<br />

Director for final orders. Matters having financing implication are processed by the<br />

Account Section and checked by the Sr. Accounts Officer and to the Addl. Director<br />

who is DDO for comments and finally endorsed to the Director for final decision.<br />

Matters related to the Schemes/ Projects are generally processed by<br />

the RDAs and to the concerned Programme Officers (Joint Directors) and Addl.<br />

Director and to the Director for final decision.<br />

Matters which require Govt. approval/ sanction etc. are sent with<br />

approval of the Director to the Government.<br />

Supervision: The Director supervises the works of all the different Divisions. The<br />

Administrative/ Programmes incharge supervise the works/ programmes under them.<br />

The office staffs are supervised by the Jt. Director/Asstt. Director (Administration)/<br />

Registrar & Superintendents.<br />

Accountability: The Officers and Staffs are accountable for timely disposal of the<br />

works allotted to them.<br />
