Broilers California<br />

Season two or three split broiler-fryers to taste vJltMalt<br />

and pepper. Place over hot coals and brush with melted<br />

butter and Broil 13 to 20 minutes. Combine % cup Sherry<br />

V* cup melted butter, V, cup currant jelly and 1 teaspoon<br />

talt and simmer for 10 minutes.<br />

Torn chicken and brush with wine baste. Continue<br />

broiling another 15 or 20 minutes, basting frequently with<br />
