Flood plains: <strong>The</strong> campus west <strong>of</strong> the Tail<br />
Race is within the 500 year fl ood plain and<br />
the properties adjacent to the Tail Race and<br />
canal are within the 100 year fl ood plain.<br />
Academic buildings located in this area are<br />
the College <strong>of</strong> Education, West Center and the<br />
Communications Center building. <strong>The</strong> historic<br />
Frank House and institutional service buildings<br />
are also located in this area. All new projects<br />
within this area must be designed for fl ood<br />
issues.<br />
