Insulation<br />

The following insulation values will be provided in the building of the proposed TSF:<br />

Roof R = 20<br />

Walls R = 13<br />

Walls Below Grade R = 7.5<br />

Unheated Slabs R = 10<br />

Note: R-value is a measure of insulation resistivity.<br />

Secondary Partitions<br />

Secondary partitions within the storage area will be insulated sheet metal wall panels. The wall<br />

height will be from floor to the bottom chord of the roof trusses. All joints will be sealed with<br />

flexible seal materials and finished with an epoxy coating. The surfaces will be coated with<br />

epoxy enamel.<br />

Secondary partitions within the office/washrooms areas will be concrete wall and sealed with<br />

epoxy coating.<br />

Personnel Doors<br />

Exterior and interior personnel doors within the facility will be constructed of a pressed steel<br />

frame and a door, both coated with epoxy enamel. A glazed panel will be inset at eye level<br />

wherever practical and necessary.<br />

The industrial doors throughout the building are described below.<br />

Exterior over-head doors<br />

Structural steel channel frame coated with epoxy enamel.<br />

Insulated, hurricane resistant roll-up metal sectional door coated with epoxy enamel.<br />

Motorized.<br />

Weather sealed.<br />

Safety reversing edges.<br />

Interior Roll-up Doors<br />

Structural steel channel frame coated with epoxy enamel.<br />

Metal door coated with epoxy enamel.<br />

Motorized.<br />

Safety reversing edges.<br />
