General use of magnetic separation in food industry is removing rare earth elements<br />
from food ingredients. Similar to the ore beneficiation or desulfurization, the target<br />
substances are weakly magnetic <strong>and</strong> need high magnetic fields applied to a continous<br />
process of food production line.<br />
