directors’ pay and maintenance<br />

backlog eat all the cash and lead the<br />

NWC into early trouble? The truth<br />

is that just now, nobody knows. The<br />

documents put an optimistic polish<br />

on all this but you can be sure that<br />

it is the number one question for<br />

the new Interim Trustees when<br />

they are appointed soon. So don’t<br />

get bogged down in all this in the<br />

consultation. By all means say what<br />

you think, but it is very important<br />

that we get the other parts right<br />

too. Please do make a response to<br />

the consultation. Boaters’ biggest<br />

risk for the future is apathy and lack<br />

<strong>of</strong> response!<br />
