Outreach<br />
International Outreach Services<br />
BTNC physicians work closely with<br />
neurosurgeons in Clevel<strong>and</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong> Florida<br />
to provide services for patients. Out-of-state<br />
patients can take advantage of Clevel<strong>and</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong>’s<br />
Medical Concierge program, a complimentary<br />
service that offers facilitation <strong>and</strong> coordination<br />
of multiple medical appointments; access to<br />
discounts on airline tickets <strong>and</strong> hotels, when<br />
available; help in making hotel reservations<br />
or housing accommodations; <strong>and</strong> arrangement<br />
of leisure activities.<br />
BTNC <strong>and</strong> Gamma Knife <strong>Center</strong> specialists also<br />
treat patients from outside the United States.<br />
The special requirements of international patients<br />
are h<strong>and</strong>led through Clevel<strong>and</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong>’s Global<br />
Patient Services program. The professionals<br />
within Global Patient Services provide the<br />
assistance <strong>and</strong> services our international<br />
patients need to help them feel at home while<br />
they are being treated here. We employ a large<br />
multilingual staff, <strong>and</strong> interpreters are available<br />
to assist patients. Our staff helps coordinate<br />
all the details of a visit, from scheduling<br />
medical appointments <strong>and</strong> making hotel <strong>and</strong><br />
transportation arrangements to transferring <strong>and</strong><br />
translating medical records.<br />
