Vintage Beauties<br />
The Loar’s new archtops are modeled<br />
after 1920s designs, and both<br />
begin with hand-carved solid spruce<br />
tops. The new LH-300 and LH-350<br />
(pictured) feature maple backs and<br />
sides and a mahogany neck,<br />
which is finished with a bound<br />
rosewood fretboard. The<br />
guitars boast a 1.75-inch nut<br />
width and a historic 24.75-inch<br />
scale length. The LH-350 has a<br />
florentine cutaway and a<br />
floating humbucker for amplified<br />
playing. Both guitars<br />
are offered in a vintage<br />
