GUITAR CENTER I OPENING<br />
GC DEBUTS FOURTH NEW LOCATION OF 2011<br />
Guitar Center has opened a new retail location<br />
in Stevenson Ranch, Calif., making<br />
it the company’s fourth new store to<br />
open this year and its 218th in operation.<br />
The retailer kicked off the April 28 grand opening<br />
with weekend-long deals on guitar and drum<br />
essentials. The store also conducted free events,<br />
such as an Avid workshop and a chance to testdrive<br />
GC Garage, the store’s on-site repair service.<br />
The Stevenson Ranch location features<br />
Guitar Center Studios, the retailer’s embedded<br />
music lessons facility. Guitar Center<br />
Studios provides music lessons for all skill<br />
levels and features certified instructors.<br />
Customers will also be able to participate in<br />
GC’s nationwide programs designed to spearhead<br />
creativity and highlight undiscovered talent,<br />
such as “Your Next Record” and “Guitar<br />
Center On-Stage,” as well as GC’s annual Drum-<br />
Off and King of the Blues competitions.<br />
