As the city is under the pressure of heavy maintenance and electricity bill of street lights it need innovative ideas to reduce the reoccurring expenditure in this sector 2. Street Light Proposals The suggested innovation of existing street light with automatic timer switch will require Rs. 6.4 lacs. The high mass light is required for the specified 7 places in the town and electrical fittings for existing street lights. The total estimate cost for street light is Rs. 89.65 lacs. Road and Transportation Proposals The capital works relating to improvements of roads in terms of converting exiting gravel road and WBM roads to Concrete Road and BT road repetitively . Also, included the road widening, road junction improvements and bus stand improvements at an estimated cost of Rs. 112 Lacs.
