BRABUS 800 Roadster:
World debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show
The Mercedes SL 65 AMG with 588 kW / 800 hp of power,
1,420 Nm of torque and a top speed of 350 km/h
BRABUS 800 Roadster – based on the Mercedes SL 65 AMG, BRABUS (Brabus-Allee, D-
46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777 111, Internet
www.brabus.com) builds the world’s most powerful roadster. The two-seater is powered by
a 12-cylinder Biturbo engine uprated by BRABUS T65 RS tuning. It produces 588 kW / 800
hp (788 bhp) of power and a peak torque of 1,420 Nm. A sprint time of 3.7 seconds from rest
to 100 km/h (62 mph) and of 9.8 seconds to 200 km/h (124 mph) are impressive testaments
to the car’s special status that is further bolstered by an electronically limited top speed of
350 km/h (217 mph). The exclusive equipment features also include BRABUS carbon-fiber
bodywork components designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, custom-tailored
BRABUS wheels with diameters up to 20 inches and exclusive options for the cockpit.
BRABUS T65 RS tuning unleashes the latent power reserves of the six-liter V12 engine. To this end, the
BRABUS engine professionals have developed a BRABUS high-tech Biturbo system with custom highperformance
manifolds that feature integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers. The
tuning also includes four water-to-air intercoolers, housed in space provided by the BRABUS carbon-fiber
hood scoop. Another custom development for the SL 65 power upgrade is the special BRABUS stainlesssteel
high-performance exhaust system. It features free-flow metal catalysts and ceramic-coated tailpipes
with distinctive BRABUS design. An integrated butterfly valve in the exhaust provides an active sound
management on the steering wheel: at the push of a button the driver can chose between a discrete
“coming home” and a markedly sporty exhaust note.
The newly calibrated engine electronics complete with high-performance mapping for injection and ignition
coordinate the perfect interaction of the high-end components while also ensuring compliance with EURO V
emission standards. The high-tech lubricants for the entire powertrain are supplied by technology partner
MOTUL.
The BRABUS T65 RS engine produces 588 kW / 800 hp (788 bhp) of power at 5,500 rpm and an even
more impressive peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), available from a low 2,100 rpm. In the car, peak
torque is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).
In conjunction with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission, whose gears can be shifted
automatically or manually with the BRABUS aluminum shift paddles on the steering wheel, the BRABUS
800 Roadster rises to the become the most powerful of its kind. From rest the sports car weighing in at
about two metric tons (2.2 tons) sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds. The two-door car reaches
a speed of 200 km/h (124 mph) after just 9.8 seconds. Top speed is limited electronically to 350 km/h (217
mph).
To master these enormous speeds at all times, a BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement kit for the SL 65
was developed in the wind tunnel. All components are manufactured from carbon fibers and are available
either with a matt or high-gloss surface finish. It goes without saying; they can also be painted in the car’s
exterior color.
The BRABUS front spoiler attaches to the lower section of the bumper. It lends the roadster a more sporty
appearance and reduces lift on the front axle. BRABUS covers for the side air vents round out the striking
front for the SL 65 AMG.
The sides are refined with custom-tailored attachments for the air vents integrated into the front fenders and
with rocker panels.
To achieve an optimal aerodynamic balance, the rear section is upgraded with a diffuser insert for the
fascia.
As an alternative to the 19-inch stock tires of the SL 65, the BRABUS suspension engineers have
developed an exclusive 20-inch high-tech variant. The new BRABUS Monoblock R “Platinum Edition”
forged wheel offers the perfect symbiosis of lightweight construction and maximum strength thanks to stateof-the-art
manufacturing technology. In addition to the innovative construction, this wheel design also offers
unique looks with ten double spokes arranged in two matt titanium and fully polished planes. The front axle
is fitted with wheels in size 9Jx20 shod with size 255/30 ZR 20 tires. In the rear, tires in size 305/25 ZR 20
mounted on size 10.5Jx20 wheels transfer the BRABUS 800 Roadster’s power of 800 horses to the
asphalt. BRABUS recommends high-performance tires from Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA.
To give the two-seater even more agile handling, BRABUS developed a special control module for the ABC
suspension of the SL 65 AMG. It lowers the ride height by about 25 millimeters (1.0 inches).
The BRABUS limited-slip rear differential with a locking rate of 40 percent can enhance handling
performance further still.
BRABUS adds even more luxury and custom features to the two-seat interior upon request as well. The
product portfolio ranges from scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo and a speedometer with 360-km/h dial
(220 mph) to carbon-fiber and wood trim sets in any color imaginable and with a variety of surface finishes.
The company upholstery shop crafts exquisite BRABUS interiors from especially soft yet durable BRABUS
Mastik leather and Alcantara. A prime example for the precision craftsmanship is the leather-clad trunk of
the show car at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show that features meticulous and precise honeycomb stitching
throughout.
World debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show 2013:
730 hp for the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG
The BRABUS B63S - 730 with 537 kW / 730 hp, 1,065 Nm torque and a
top speed up to 350 km/h
537 kW / 730 hp (720 bhp), 1,065 Nm (785 lb-ft) of torque and a top speed up to 350 km/h
(217 mph): those are the signature performance figures of the BRABUS B63S - 730 based
on the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG, which celebrates its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor
Show. BRABUS (Brabus-Allee, 46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0)
2041 / 777 111, internet www.brabus.com) offers not only a peerless high-performance
package for the top-of-the-line CLS-Class model: the BRABUS automotive refinement
program also includes aerodynamic-enhancement components made from clear-coated
carbon-fiber, high-tech forged wheels with a diameter of 20 inches and exclusive options
for the interior.
BRABUS offers the world’s most expansive program of performance tuning for the automobiles from
Mercedes-Benz. Besides the two already familiar BRABUS power upgrades for the 5.5-liter eight-cylinder
Biturbo engine of the CLS 63 rated at 430 kW / 584 hp (576 bhp) and 456 kW / 620 hp (611 bhp), there now
is also a new BRABUS B63S - 730 high-performance version, which is backed by the same exemplary
BRABUS Tuning Warranty of three years, up to 100,000 kilometers or 62,0000 miles (see BRABUS
warranty terms and conditions, updated November 2006) as all other BRABUS components and
conversions.
To achieve the enormous boost in power by 127 kW / 173 hp (170 bhp), the BRABUS engine professionals
developed and tested an extensive power package for the V8 using state-of-the-art test bench technology.
Two special BRABUS turbochargers with larger compressor unit generate a higher boost pressure than the
production turbos.
An additional low-temperature water-to-air intercooler for the charge-air cooling system in conjunction with
the BRABUS Gold Heat Reflection system for intakes and charge-air tubes results not only in an improved
power yield thanks to lower charge-air temperatures. These measures also contribute to the engine’s
immaculate durability.
The engine conversion also includes special BRABUS mapping for the engine management system and
free-flow metal catalysts with 75-millimeter wide downpipes. The ideal complement to the power upgrades
for the CLS 63 AMG is a BRABUS sport exhaust system with butterfly valve. At the push of a button on the
steering wheel the driver can choose between operating the V8 in quiet “coming home” and enjoying a
markedly sporty exhaust note in “sport” mode. The stainless-steel exhaust system also adds some striking
visual highlights with its two ceramics-coated designer dual tailpipes.
The BRABUS B63S - 730 engine, which is lubricated with MOTUL high-performance motor oil, is available
for the four-door CLS Coupe and the Shooting Brake. It stands out from the crowd with a maximum power
output of 537 kW / 730 hp (720 bhp), available from a low 5,300 rpm. But that’s not all: its enormous peak
torque, limited electronically to 1,065 Nm (785 lb-ft), is available steadily over a wide plateau between 1,750
and 5,000 rpm. In conjunction with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission it offers an
exhilarating symbiosis of dynamic purpose and sophisticated acceleration.
3.8 seconds from a standing start to 100 km/h (62 mph) are just as unique for a car in this class as is a time
of 10.8 seconds for the sprint to 200 km/h (124 mph). A BRABUS multi-disc limited-slip rear differential with
a locking rate of 40 percent can further optimize traction and handling..
With a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) the four-door coupe version of the BRABUS B63S - 730 bests the
production car’s top speed by a whopping 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph). Due to the higher rear-axle
Page 4 of 18
load of the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, the top speed for this body style has to be limited to 300 km/h
(186 mph) out of consideration for the tires.
To further optimize directional stability well into the regions beyond 300 km/h (187 mph), the BRABUS
designers went into the wind tunnel to develop a front spoiler for both body styles of the CLS 63 AMG. The
aerodynamic-enhancement component attaches to the underside of the front fascia and reduces lift on the
front axle.
The view from the side is redefined with sportily styled fender attachments with backlit BRABUS logo. All
components are manufactured from especially light yet high-strength genuine carbon fibers for a fullblooded
racing look, and are available with a matt or high-gloss surface finish.
The exclusive BRABUS appearance for the new CLS 63 AMG is also in part courtesy of the BRABUS
Monoblock wheels with diameters of 19 and 20 inches. The latest innovation in the BRABUS wheel family is
the BRABUS Monoblock R "Platinum Edition" forged wheel that combines lightweight construction and
maximum strength. The wheel also features innovative styling. Five double spokes are arranged in two
planes. The inner spokes are painted a matt gray color; the outer ones are diamond-polished and sealed
with a matt clear coat, giving the wheel a highly distinctive look. The largest tires supplied by BRABUS
technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA for the 20-inch alloys come in size 255/30 ZR 20
for the 9Jx20 wheels on the front axle and in size 295/25 ZR 20 for the 10.5Jx20 wheels in the rear.
Exclusive interior design that fulfills any customer request is a BRABUS specialty that comes to life in the
company upholstery shop. The lineup for the CLS 63 AMG ranges from attractive accessories to customtailored
interiors crafted from especially soft, breathable and yet highly durable BRABUS Mastik leather and
Alcantara.
Scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo, a speedometer with 400-km/h dial (250 mph) and rear-seat tables
attached to the backs of the front seats add custom highlights as do the markedly sporty aluminum
components such as pedal pads, door lock pins and shift paddles for the steering wheel. The product
portfolio also includes high-quality carbon-fiber inlays for dashboard and center console in any desired color
and wood trim in any desired color and grain.
Also available for the top-of-the-line CLS model is a custom-tailored BRABUS multimedia concept –
including optional Apple iPad integration.
BRABUS 800 WIDESTAR
588 kW / 800 hp, 1,420 Nm and a striking wide-body version
for the new twelve-cylinder off-roader Mercedes G 65 AMG
Page 5 of 18
588 kW / 800 hp and 1,420 Nm instead of the standard-spec 450 kW / 612 hp: With the
BRABUS 800 engine conversion, BRABUS (Brabus-Allee, D-46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0)
2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777 111, internet www.brabus.com) offers owners of the
new Mercedes G 65 AMG a fascinating performance upgrade. A sprint time of just 4.2
seconds to 100 km/h (62 mph), an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph)
and the optional BRABUS WIDESTAR wide-body version complete with 23-inch BRABUS
forged wheels available in various versions set the tuned off-roader far apart from the rest.
The electrically adjustable BRABUS Ride Control suspension offers a perfect symbiosis of
excellent ride comfort and safe, agile handling.
The BRABUS 800 engine conversion unleashes the power reserves inherent in the 6.0-liter V12 Biturbo
engine. To this end the BRABUS engine specialists developed a high-tech Biturbo system. The exhaust
manifolds custom-designed for the G 65 AMG with integrated turbine housings and high-performance
turbochargers optimize throttle response and produce a higher boost pressure than the production turbos.
Four water-to-air intercoolers arranged under the BRABUS carbon-fiber hood scoop ensure lower chargeair
temperatures. This benefits power yield and durability even under extreme conditions such as in the
desert. The optimized engine air supply is provided by two air filter boxes in the front fenders.
On the exhaust side there is a BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with free-flow
metal catalysts and a sound management system courtesy of a butterfly valve in the exhaust. The high-tech
exhaust is controlled with a button on the steering wheel. The V12 can purr discreetly in “coming home”
mode or shout out its exhilarating power in the sport position. The sport exhaust adds some visual
excitement with its two dual tailpipes – with regular or black chrome finish – exiting on both sides in front of
the rear wheels.
The newly programmed engine electronics with special mapping for injection and ignition coordinates the
perfect interaction of the high-performance components while at the same time ensuring compliance with
EURO V emission standards. The high-performance lubricants for the entire powertrain are supplied by
technology partner MOTUL.
The BRABUS 800 engine produces 588 kW / 800 hp (788 bhp) / at a low 5,500 rpm and an even more
impressive peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), already on tap from 2,100 rpm. In the vehicle, peak
torque is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).
The vehicle performance speaks volumes: In combination with the seven-speed automatic transmission
and permanent all-wheel drive system the BRABUS 800 WIDESTAR accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in
just 4.2 seconds. The top speed is limited electronically to 250 km/h (155 mph). Without the limiter the highperformance
off-roader would be capable of reaching a speed of 270 km/h (168 mph).
It goes without saying that BRABUS goes beyond simply tuning the engine of the G 65 AMG. The
designers lend the classic G-Class body updated for 2013 an even more striking and dynamic profile with
the WIDESTAR wide-body version. The front of the off-roader is characterized, among other things, by the
powerfully sculpted fender flares. The BRABUS front spoiler, which also fits any G 63 or G 65 without
WIDESTAR conversion, attaches to the production fascia and features integrated LED daytime running
lights on both sides. But that’s not all: The BRABUS logos integrated into both sides of the aerodynamics
component are activated by pulling on a door handle or by operating the keyless-entry remote.
The new look for the front is further defined by the front grille with integrated BRABUS logo and an
additional panel below the radiator grille. The BRABUS front-end components are also available for all G 65
AMG models without WIDESTAR conversion. The same applies to the BRABUS rear fascia and the
BRABUS roof spoiler.
The fender flares front and back add 12 centimeters (4.7 inches) to the width of the G-Class body.
Integrated LEDs illuminate the running boards of the G 65. They are also activated by pulling on a door
handle or by operating the keyless-entry remote. The integrated air vents and the BRABUS attachment
components on the doors add further striking highlights when viewed from the side.
The widened wheel wells provide space for BRABUS forged wheels with a diameter of 23 inches. State-ofthe-art
manufacturing technology ensures that these wheels represent an ideal combination of lightweight
design and maximum strength. There are three BRABUS “Platinum Edition” 11Jx23 wheels to choose from:
In addition to the popular Monoblock E evo and Monoblock F “Platinum Edition” designs, there is now also
the BRABUS Monoblock R “Platinum Edition” forged wheel. This design has nine double spokes arranged
in two matt titanium and fully polished planes. It is fitted with high-performance tires in size 305/35 R 23
from BRABUS technology partners Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA.
Another BRABUS high-tech feature is the Ride Control suspension developed in cooperation with
technology partner BILSTEIN. An aluminum button sporting the BRABUS logo on the center console lets
the driver manually choose between two setups for the two-way electrically adjustable shock absorbers. In
comfort mode the off-roader provides exemplary ride comfort that even surpasses the production car. At
higher speeds and for a spirited driving style the firmer sports setting offers more dynamic handling and
even further increased safety reserves.
Furthermore, the BRABUS Ride Control suspension features automatic damper adjustment. If the vehicle
sensors detect that certain parameters such as speed, lateral acceleration and steering angle might lead to
a critical handling situation, the system autonomously switches to the firmer sports setting in the blink of an
eye. The sportier damper setup further improves the directional stability of the all-wheel-drive vehicle. In
return the CAN control unit also recognizes when the driver reverts to a more moderate driving style. In that
event the system automatically switches back to the comfort position.
The interior of the G 65 AMG can be custom-tailored to the owner’s personal preferences in the BRABUS
upholstery shop. The choice of colors for the especially softy and breathable BRABUS Mastik leather and
the fine Alcantara is virtually limitless. Just as boundless is the selection of upholstery designs and the
variety of exclusive wood or carbon-fiber inlays. In this area as well BRABUS can fulfill special color
requests and designs, including wood inlays in an especially exclusive yachting design.
The BRABUS product range also includes stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo and further
attractive accessories such as high-quality velour floor mats and BRABUS aluminum pedals and door-lock
pins.

BRABUS refines the Mercedes ML 63 AMG
456.3 kW / 620 hp, 300 km/h and spectacular wide-body version
456.3 kW / 620 hp (611 bhp) of power and a peak torque of 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) give it a top
speed of up to 300 km/h (186 mph). The spectacular WIDESTAR wide-body version in
conjunction with forged 23-inch wheels set it far apart from the masses: BRABUS (Brabus-
Allee, 46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777 111, internet
www.brabus.com) refines the Mercedes ML 63 AMG!
There is no such thing as enough power and consequently the BRABUS engine specialists have developed
performance tuning for the 5.5-liter V8 Biturbo engine of the latest ML 63 AMG: the B63-620 performance
kit. The engine tuning kit is available in various versions for vehicles with or without AMG performance
package. It is backed by the one-of-a-kind BRABUS tuning warranty of three years, up to 100,000
kilometers/62,000 miles (see BRABUS Warranty Terms and Conditions, updated November 2006).
BRABUS recommends high-performance lubricants from technology partner MOTUL.
The tuning involves the integration of a plug-and-play BRABUS PowerXtra module into the engine
electronics. This auxiliary control unit optimizes power yield as the result of a new mapping for injection and
ignition as well as a moderate increase in boost pressure.
The perfect complement to the BRABUS engine tuning for the ML 63 AMG is a stainless-steel BRABUS
sport exhaust system with butterfly valve. It gives drivers the option of switching between a discreet and
quiet “coming home” mode and a decidedly throaty V8 exhaust note in “sport” mode at the push of a button.
The BRABUS sport exhaust features two ceramics-coated design exhaust embellishers on either side for
an even more striking rear appearance.
ML 63 models delivered ex-factory without performance package gain an extra 69 kW / 95 hp (93 bhp) with
BRABUS B63-620 tuning; the performance version adds 45 kW / 63 hp (60 bhp). Both models produce a
peak torque of 820 Nm (604 lb-ft), available between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm.
The BRABUS-tuned SUV accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The BRABUS Vmax unit
that is part of the performance kit can be programmed to allow an electronically limited top speed of 280 or
300 km/h (174 or 186 mph).
At these speeds aerodynamic properties are crucial. To account for this fact, the BRABUS designers have
developed an additional spoiler for the production fascia. It is made from clear-coated carbon fiber and
reduces lift on the front axle. A rear spoiler is available as its aerodynamic counterpart.
The front of the refined ML 63 AMG adds more appeal with striking attachments for the side air inlets. A
centrally placed diffuser made from clear-coated carbon fiber adds even more sporty character to the rear.
The BRABUS WIDESTAR fender flares on the front and rear axle add six centimeters (2.5 inches) to the
width of the top-of-the-line M-Class. These flares give the vehicle a more bullish stance that is rounded out
with the attachment components for the sides of the front and rear fasciae. But that’s not all: The
WIDESTAR fender flares also make room for extremely wide BRABUS king-size tires with diameters of up
to 23 inches.
The largest possible tire/wheel combination for the BRABUS WIDESTAR version features size 10Jx22
wheels. Customers can choose from five wheel designs, Monoblock VI, E, G "Platinum Edition", Q and R.
The most exclusive option is the BRABUS Monoblock G "Platinum Edition" forged wheel. Thanks to cuttingedge
manufacturing technology it offers an unparalleled combination of lightweight design and maximum
strength. The corresponding high-performance tires in size 295/30 ZR 22 are supplied by BRABUS
technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA.
A special BRABUS control module for the AIRMATIC air suspension of the ML 63 AMG lowers the ride
height of the high-performance SUV. This not only gives the all-wheel-drive car an even more striking
appearance, the lowered center of gravity also further improves handling.
BRABUS is one of the top addresses in the world for exclusive automotive interior design. The company
upholstery shop uses the finest leather and Alcantara to craft custom-tailored interiors for the ML 63 AMG
to suit each owner’s personal taste.
Wood and genuine carbon-fiber trim sets in any desired color and with a variety of surface finishes are
available to round out the ensemble. A speedometer with 360-km/h dial (225 mph) is also part of the
product lineup as are special BRABUS aluminum shift paddles for the steering wheel.

Muscular fender flares front and back, high-tech forged wheels with a diameter of 23
inches, a striking front with large air inlets and a 5.5-liter Biturbo V8 engine producing 456.3
kW / 620 hp (611 bhp) of power: the BRABUS B63 - 620 WIDESTAR based on the new
Mercedes GL 63 AMG celebrates its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show on the
BRABUS stand (Brabus-Allee, D-46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0)
2041 / 777 111, internet www.brabus.com).
The BRABUS WIDESTAR body conversion for the new GL-Class is characterized by the striking fender
flares front and back that add eight centimeters (3.1 in.) to the width of the grand SUV.
The large air inlets of the BRABUS WIDESTAR front element give it an even more bullish appearance and
optimize the supply of fresh air for radiators and front brakes. Its sophisticated shape reduces lift on the
front axle at high speeds and thus optimizes directional stability.
From the rear, the wide-body version is even more striking thanks to the roof spoiler and the rear element
made by BRABUS. The thrilling BRABUS appearance includes a diffuser integrated into the fascia and the
precise-fit cutouts for the distinctive ceramics-coated tailpipes of the BRABUS stainless-steel sport exhaust
system with butterfly valve.
All BRABUS bodywork components are manufactured in OEM quality from high-grade PUR plastics to
ensure optimal fit and perfect paintability.
The BRABUS WIDESTAR wide-body version also creates space for extreme-sized tires. The large wheel
wells of the GL-Class offer just enough space for 23-inch high-tech forged wheels. The BRABUS "Platinum
Edition" 11Jx23 alloys are available in three popular designs: Monoblock E evo, F and R. State-of-the-art
forging technology makes the "Platinum Edition" wheels particularly light despite offering outstanding
strength and stress resistance. Compared with a conventional cast wheel of identical size, these alloys
represent weight savings up to 15 percent. All BRABUS forged wheels can be identified immediately by the
stainless-steel "Platinum Edition" emblem.
The suitable high-performance street tires in size 305/30 R 23 are supplied by BRABUS technology
partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA.
The new Mercedes GL-Class can alternatively be equipped with 21-inch forged Monoblock VI or F wheels,
22-inch Monoblock VI, E, Q and R cast wheels or BRABUS Monoblock G "PLATINUM EDITION" forged
wheels.
The BRABUS control module for GL models with AIRMATIC air suspension is specifically calibrated to the
sporty tire/wheel combination. It lowers the ride height of the vehicle by about 30 millimeters (1.2 inches).
To further enhance active safety, the SUV can be equipped with a BRABUS high-performance brake
system. It consists of six-piston aluminum fixed calipers gripping vented and cross-drilled front discs
measuring 405 x 34 millimeters (15.9 x 1.3 inches). The rear axle stops with discs measuring 380 x 34 mm
(15.0 x 1.3 inches) and four-piston fixed calipers.
BRABUS offers the world’s most extensive engine tuning program for Mercedes-Benz automobiles, which
obviously also benefits the new GL 63 AMG: the 5.5-liter V8 Biturbo engine receives an impressive power
upgrade with the BRABUS B63 - 620 performance kit. This kit is already available for all other AMG 63
models powered by an eight-cylinder Biturbo engine.
The BRABUS B63 - 620 PowerXtra module is integrated into the engine electronics as a plug-and-play
device. It features new mapping for injection and ignition and provides a moderate increase in boost
pressure. Maximum power output jumps from standard 410 kW / 557 hp to 456.3 kW / 620 hp (549 bhp to
611 bhp) at a low 5,750 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 760 to 820 Nm (560 lb-ft to 604 lb-ft),
steadily available on a plateau between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm. The high-tech lubricants for the entire
powertrain are supplied by technology partner MOTUL.
The tuned SUV zooms to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top
speed of 280 km/h (174 mph).
The BRABUS stainless-steel sport exhaust system lends the all-wheel-drive vehicle an appealing rear
appearance. At the push of a button on the steering wheel it also produces an especially exhilarating V8
exhaust note. The integrated butterfly valve lets the driver choose between a particularly quiet “coming
home” and a sport mode. The latter produces a full-blooded V8 sound.
Exclusive interior options are another BRABUS specialty: for the new Mercedes GL 63 AMG BRABUS
offers stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo, exclusive BRABUS all-leather interiors crafted
from a masterfully finished combination of the finest Mastik leather and Alcantara. The vehicle on display is
a prime example for the precision craftsmanship applied by the BRABUS upholsterers: the interior design
features a pattern of exact squares that all were sewn with utmost precision.
The BRABUS B63 - 620 WIDESTAR model on display at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show is furnished with
especially exclusive yacht-design wood appointments, with feature countless miniature pieces dovetailed
together like the deck of a ship.
The sporty character of the vehicle is rounded out by the speedometer with 320-km/h dial (200 mph) and
aluminum components such as pedals, door pins and longer BRABUS aluminum shift paddles.

The Ultimate City Sports Car
Limited-edition city sports cars that are as exclusive as they are dynamic have a successful
history at BRABUS. That’s why BRABUS (Brabus-Allee, D-46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0)
2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777 111, internet www.brabus.com) now offers a new power
two-seater: based on the latest evolution of the smart fortwo cabrio there is a successor to
the sold-out limited-edition models ULTIMATE 101, ULTIMATE 112, ULTIMATE R and
ULTIMATE style – the BRABUS ULTIMATE 120. As the name indicates, this drop-top twoseater
car is a supercar with 88.3 kW / 120 hp (118 bhp) and a top speed of 170 km/h (112
mph), which will be built in a small-series production run limited to just 120 consecutively
numbered cars. The exclusive appointments range from a special paint finish as per
customer specification to the WIDESTAR wide-body version with forged BRABUS
Monoblock F 18-inch wheels and an all-leather interior. The MSRP for the BRABUS
ULTIMATE 120 starts at EUR 45,900.
In addition to the special paintwork to customer specifications, the ULTIMATE 120 immediately catches the
eye with its muscular BRABUS WIDESTAR wide-body kit that includes a front spoiler, side skirts and
BRABUS WIDESTAR fender flares front and back.
The large wheel wells offers space for a tire/wheel combination that is highly unusual in this vehicle class
and design: the new BRABUS Monoblock F "Platinum Edition" forged wheels are mounted on the front axle
in size 7Jx18 with size 205/35 R 18 high-performance tires. Size 8.5Jx18 wheels with size 235/30 R 18 tires
in the rear provide plenty of grip for transferring the power of 120 horses to the asphalt with no slip.
The height-adjustable BRABUS coilover suspension is custom-calibrated to the ultra-low-profile tires and
the wider track. It combines direct and safe handling with excellent ride comfort. A BRABUS highperformance
brake system is available for an additional charge. It offers enormous stopping power and
maximum endurance thanks to cross-drilled front discs gripped by four-piston fixed calipers painted in
vehicle color.
This makes the ULTIMATE 120 perfectly suited for the installation of the powerful BRABUS three-cylinder
turbocharged engine. In keeping with its name, the ultimate city sports car keeps a maximum power output
of 88.3 kW / 120 hp (118 bhp) /at 6,000 rpm on tap for its driver. However, even more important in day-today
operation is the peak torque of 160 Nm (118 lb-ft), available between 2,250 and 3,750 rpm, and
unparalleled in this vehicle class.
Gears in the BRABUS ULTIMATE 120 are shifted either automatically or similar to Formula 1 racing
manually with shift paddles on the ergonomically shaped BRABUS steering wheel that has a diameter of
just 34 centimeters (13.4 inches).
With a sprint time of 8.9 seconds for 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) and an electronically limited top speed of 170
km/h (106 mph) the convertible also sets new class standards in these disciplines.
This performance is accompanied acoustically by the BRABUS stainless-steel sport exhaust system with
two chrome-plated tailpipes.
The ULTIMATE 120 also boasts exquisite interior highlights: The entire interior is upholstered in especially
soft and breathable BRABUS Mastik leather with contrasting stitching color-coordinated with the outer skin.
For even better lateral support during fast cornering the city sports car can optionally be equipped with
Recaro Sportster seats. These seats are also wrapped in the finest BRABUS leather and the seat shells are
furthermore painted the color of the exterior.
Numerous other details such as the speedometer, tach and clock including the instrument bezels,
dashboard molding, turn signal stalks and door handles are also painted in body color. BRABUS stainlesssteel
pedals as well as an aluminum shifter and emergency-brake lever create pure motor sports ambiance.
Air conditioning system, radio and navigation system are of course also part of the two-seat drop-top’s
standard equipment.

latest Mercedes-Benz 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY models and already the basic versions
multimedia system with voice control and other advanced features as well as an exclusive
BRABUS custom equipment package. The common denominator in each case is a BRABUS
D6S POWER DIESEL engine with a peak torque of 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) and – depending on
the model – a rated power output of up to 230 kW / 313 hp (308 bhp).
Buyers of a BRABUS POWER DIESEL can also add custom BRABUS options such as e.g.
special paintwork etc.
takes just 6.0 seconds for the sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) and reaches a top speed of 229 km/h (142 mph).
BRABUS - High-End Tuning and Lifestyle
for Mercedes-Benz and smart Automobiles
High-end tuning and lifestyle for Mercedes-Benz and smart automobiles is the domain of BRABUS (Brabus-
Allee, D-46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777 111, Internet
www.brabus.com). In 2012 BRABUS will celebrate its 35 th anniversary.
The world-renowned tuner and car manufacturer offers individualized options to satisfy every wish. The
BRABUS product lineup ranges from powerful tuned engines and elegantly styled aerodynamicenhancement
kits to high-quality alloy wheels, dynamic yet comfortable sport suspensions and exquisitely
luxurious interiors handcrafted to perfection.
BRABUS uses the most exacting standards for the development and testing of its tuning parts – and stands
behind them 100 percent: all BRABUS components – including all performance kits and high-capacity
engines – are covered by the unique BRABUS Tuning Warranty ® of three years, up to 100,000 kilometers
or 62,000 miles (see BRABUS Warranty Terms and Conditions, updated November 2006).
BRABUS is also one of the world’s most exclusive manufacturers of automobiles: holding this status with
the German Federal Department of Motor Vehicles (Kraftfahrtbundesamt) in Flensburg, the company builds
such exciting high-performance vehicles like the BRABUS ROCKET 800. The new supercar is based on
the second generation of the Mercedes CLS-Class, is powered by an engine producing 588 kW / 800 hp
(788 bhp) and reaches a top speed in excess of 370 km/h (230 mph).
These activities are honored by the media and the general public as well. The reader poll “Die besten Autos
- BEST CARS 2012,” conducted by Germany’s leading automobile magazine ‘auto motor und sport,’ saw
BRABUS win for the seventh consecutive time by a large margin. 52.0 percent of respondents voted for
BRABUS as the ‘BEST BRAND 2012’ in the “Tuner” category.
BRABUS was founded in 1977 by Bodo Buschmann and has since grown into the world’s largest
independent tuner of automobiles. BRABUS headquarters are located in Bottrop in the heart of the Ruhr
Valley, directly adjacent to the A2 autobahn. In addition to spacious showrooms the facility also houses the
marketing and sales division, administration, the R&D department as well as the production plant of the
globally operating company.
An expansion of the BRABUS production and administration building on the 112,000-square meter (1.2
million square foot) grounds on BRABUS Allee was completed in the summer of 1999. The new BRABUS
Plant 3 went into operation in early 2013. The new plant in Bottrop covers 5,000 m² of floor space.
BRABUS high-performance engines are developed with the help of state-of-the-art test benches in the
company-own development center. The engine-building shop features the latest machines to create a level
of vertical manufacturing integration that is unique in this industry. Today there are far more than 100
modern work stations for vehicle conversions and service work in the BRABUS plant. The warehouse with a
volume of 150,000 m³ (5.3 million cubic feet) is managed with state-of-the-art computer technology and
guarantees speedy delivery of BRABUS parts to all corners of the globe.
Most testing is carried out at the BRABUS test track, which features acceleration and braking tracks, sine
curves, a skid pad, a certified noise-measuring track and a shake track with Belgian block cobblestone.
New products are continuously scrutinized in extensive testing programs. BRABUS places great emphasis
on continuous, strict quality inspections of all its products. BRABUS is quality certified in accordance with
DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2000 standards.
BRABUS also places high demands on its suppliers, working only with respected OE manufacturers like
MOTUL, BILSTEIN, Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA as its technology partners.
The high quality demands BRABUS places on its own developments, products and services are also
recognized by its peers in the automotive industry. In a joint venture with smart GmbH BRABUS founded
smart-BRABUS GmbH in 2002. In the fall of 2003 the company moved into the new 11,000-m² (118,000
Page 17 of 18
square foot) plant in Bottrop, where an exclusive accessories program for all smart models as well the topof-the-line
models for all smart model series are developed and manufactured.
Maximum eco-friendliness is at the forefront of all BRABUS developments: BRABUS-tuned engines always
offer good fuel efficiency and always remain well below legally prescribed emission limits. BRABUS
presented the world’s first tuned car to meet the new EURO VI emission standards in January 2011. The
Mercedes S 350 BlueTEC gains 40.5 kW / 55 hp (54 bhp) with BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S performance
tuning, and produces a peak torque of 690 Nm (509 lb-ft). This tuning kit makes BRABUS the first tuner to
meet the strict EURO VI emission standards, which won’t go into effect until 2014. During emission testing
required for homologation the S 350 BlueTEC with BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S tuning remained 30
percent below the EURO VI limits.
Better diesel fuel economy through professional tuning is another strength of BRABUS. A Mercedes ML320
CDI equipped with BRABUS ECO PowerXtra ® D6 (III) tuning consumed more than one liter less fuel per
100 kilometers than the non-tuned production car in a test conducted by the German TV news network n-tv.
All these developments contribute significantly to the low average CO2 emissions of all BRABUS vehicles of
just 151 g/km (updated September 2011).
The BRABUS ZERO EMISSION business division deals with ecofriendly technologies. The result is not just
an exclusive customization program for the TESLA Roadster, the world’s first electrically powered
production sports car.
BRABUS is also committed to being the “engine” of the InnovationCity Bottrop, the home of the company.
The city in the heart of the Ruhr Valley won a 2011 contest held in the entire Ruhr region. The contest’s
objective is to reduce carbon-dioxide emissions, to further improve energy efficiency and to implement
measures of climate protection. BRABUS supports this initiative with the development of ecofriendly vehicle
concepts with combustion engines, hybrid and electric drives.
BRABUS ZERO EMISSION cooperates with energy provider RWE on the development of electric vehicles.
BRABUS presents numerous world debuts at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. They include the BRABUS
800 Roadster based on the Mercedes SL 65 AMG, the BRABUS 800 WIDESTAR based on the G 65 and
the two new WIDESTAR wide-body versions for the ML 63 AMG and the GL 63 AMG.
BRABUS offers its sales partners around the globe a strong partnership. In the US and Canada BRABUS is
present with its own subsidiary, BRABUS USA LP, which moved into a new, even larger tuning center in
Irvine, California, in November 2010.
Since spring 2011 the company has also had a wholly owned branch in the Middle East, BRABUS Middle
East LLC. As befits BRABUS, this is not just a sales office as is the case for other tuning companies, but a
full-fledged tuning operation with state-of-the-art workshop, upholstery shop and logistics center. BRABUS
Middle East is located in downtown Dubai in direct vicinity of Sheikh Zayed Road, one of the most important
traffic arteries of the United Emirates.
With its partner PANG DA Automobile Trade Group BRABUS is already present with a branch in 32
Chinese cities. In addition to the first BRABUS Flagship Store, which will open in Beijing in 2013, the
Chinese sales network will be expanded to 42 branches shortly.
Currently the BRABUS network of authorized dealers and service partners extends to 106 countries around
the globe. BRABUS is also innovative on the internet: a special BRABUS app has been available for iPhone
and iPad since mid-2011. The BRABUS CAR CONFIGURATOR on the BRABUS website lets prospective
buyers virtually configure their personal dream cars.
