As the fifth generation of Toyota’s venerable SUV, the
all-new 2010 Toyota 4Runner is more rugged and refined
than any of its predecessors. Longer, wider and taller
than the previous version, the 2010 4Runner boasts a
potent combination of increased horsepower, greater
off-road dexterity and a more spacious, completely
redesigned interior and cargo area. Its rugged styling,
roomy comfort and broad versatility make it a perfect
match for off-road and outdoor enthusiasts—whether

The available JBL Premium Sound System offers 4Runner
owners a 550-watt, 15-speaker audio system with in-dash
CD or DVD changer, a USB port with iPod connectivity,
and XM Satellite Radio. The 2010 4Runner also
capitalizes on JBL’s decades-long expertise in speaker
design and engineering for concerts, amphitheaters
and other outdoor venues with the “Party Mode” audio
setting. True to the adventuresome lifestyle, this function
punches up the bass and adapts equalization for the rear
of the vehicle, where hatch-mounted speakers project
amazing acoustics for
campers, tailgaters, or
anyone who wants to
enjoy music — wherever
the trail leads.
The 10-channel Digital Signal Processing
(DSP) Amplifier produces 55 watts per
channel, for a total of 550 watts of
controlled audio brawn.
Strategically placed and fine-tuned for
the unique characteristics of the 4Runner
interior, the 15 JBL speakers deliver
spacious sound with deep harmonic
richness and outstanding musicality,
producing a deeply satisfying listening
experience.
Mounted in a specially-engineered,
acoustically-optimized enclosure, the
Dual Voice Coil (DVC) subwoofer kicks
out bass and low-frequency effects with
extraordinary precision and low distortion.
Perfect for tailgating, the Party Mode audio
setting enhances the bass and equalization
in the rear of the vehicle, producing a
rousing audio performance with the rear
hatch open.

> The 80mm coaxial mid/high speakers contain dedicated
tweeters to project ultra clear high frequencies and elevate

> The 16cm woofers and tweeters mounted coaxially in the rear

Pro equipment, enhance the sonic image for rear passengers
