for the Arts (MACA) is accepting<br />

scholarships for<br />

the 2012-2013 arts camps<br />

and the postmark deadline<br />

is May 26. The camps are<br />

open to children in grades<br />

K-6 (have completed<br />

kindergarten and sixth<br />

grade). Applications can<br />

be downloaded from the<br />

MACA website at<br />

www.monroearts.com, or<br />

interested parents can call<br />

MACA at 423-442-3210.<br />

The application process<br />

requires a recommendation<br />

from a teacher or<br />

adult who is well acquainted<br />

with the child.<br />

The theme for The<br />

<strong>Monroe</strong> Area Council for<br />

the Arts’ 2012 arts camps<br />

is “Let the Good Times<br />

Roll!” which will focus on<br />

Friday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Payment<br />

full with registration; pay<br />

half when submitting and<br />

the rest on the first day of<br />

camp; pay on the first day<br />

of camp.<br />
