Basket Making Basics Workshop
UT Extension, Monroe
County is offering a basic
basket-making workshop.
This is a great heritage
skill that is easy to learn.
The workshop will be held
Saturday, February 23, at
Hiwassee College, in
Room S13 of Lundy Science
Hall.
Participants will make a
small square basket and
cost of $20 for materials
must be paid by February
19 at the Extension Office
at 310 Tellico Street South
in Madisonville. This is to
ensure we have enough
materials and for participants
to receive a list of
equipment needed.
The workshop will
start at 10 a.m. and will last
until baskets are finished.
Space is limited to ten

the Board of Directors of the Monroe County
Emergency Communications District (the "District")
and all residents of said District and to all
persons interested, that an open public and regular

District will be held at the District’s Office, 3473
New Hwy 68, Madisonville, Tennessee at 4:00
p.m., local time, on February 28, 2013, for the
purpose of considering all matters as may be
properly presented to it, including without limitation
the consideration of a bond resolution authorizing
the issuance of a $315,800 Emergency
Communications District Revenue Bond, Series
2013, the proceeds of which will be used to finance
the construction of improvements to the
District's emergency communications system.
