Atlantic League midseason All-Star and won Rays Player of the Month honors for April. 2007 Was named Renegades
Player of the Year after leading the team in batting, triples and stolen bases. Personal Hit .351 with 7 HR as a senior
at the University of Alabama…played for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod League in 2005…his father, Emeel Sr.,
was drafted by the Cubs out of high school, but opted to sign with South Alabama where he played for Eddie Stanky.
