5.2 Plate jam<br />

If a plate jam occurs, turn off the power and remove the jammed plate.<br />

1. Turn off the power switch.<br />

2. By holding the opening lever on the top of<br />

the upper cover, open the upper cover to<br />

check the plate condition.<br />

If there is no plate left,<br />

go to When there is no plate left<br />

(page 46).<br />

If there is plate left,<br />

go to When there is plate left<br />

(page 47).<br />

Do not open the plate cover extremely<br />

quickly or forcibly 90 degrees or more.<br />

The thermal head is hot just after<br />

printing. Do not touch it directly by<br />

hand.<br />

Fingerprints on the thermal head<br />

heating element can cause the<br />

thermal head to fail. Do not touch it<br />

directly by hand.<br />

Be careful not to be injured by<br />

protrusions in the Thermal Digiplater.<br />
