MISSION<br />
STATEMENT<br />
Central Nebraska Basketball Academy<br />
exists to promote instructional and<br />
competitive opportunities for youth who<br />
desire to improve their basketball abilities.<br />
<strong>CNBA</strong> provides structured practice<br />
sessions two times per week and<br />
will compete in six tournaments in the<br />
Midwest from April through August. All<br />
practices will be held at <strong>Penner</strong> Athletic<br />
<strong>Courts</strong> in Aurora.<br />
PROGRAM<br />
Boys grades 5-8 and Girls grades 6-8<br />
of current school year. Practices will be<br />
held two times per week starting April<br />
14. A minimum of 25 practices during<br />
the summer. Focus of practices will be<br />
fundamentals and position work along<br />
with team concepts. Six tournaments<br />
will be attended in the Midwest playing<br />
a minimum of 29 games starting in June<br />
and fi nishing the fi rst week of August.<br />

<strong>CNBA</strong> teams will be coached by<br />
current and former high school<br />
basketball coaches as well as<br />
former college players and those<br />
with experience teaching basketball.<br />

FACILITY<br />
All practices will be held at <strong>Penner</strong><br />
Athletic <strong>Courts</strong> in Aurora. This new<br />
state of the art facility is the only one<br />
of its kind west of Omaha. 22,000<br />
square feet of maple fl oor with 12<br />
basketball goals complete with<br />
locker room facilities and a viewing<br />
deck for spectators.<br />
