Notification for allocation of Cadres for Civil Service Examination, 2010

4. DOPT has allocated 150 candidates to the Indian Police Service against the reported vacancies.
Out of 150 candidates the following six candidates have not reported for Basic Training Course in
National Police Academy :-

5. The ‘offer of appointment’ to these six candidates to the Indian Police Service has been
cancelled. Out of 144 candidates, 4 candidates have been granted permission to join the Basic Training
Course with subsequent batch on medical grounds.
6. The cadre allocation in respect of 144 candidates is processed in this file as per the procedure
prescribed in the Cadre Allocation Policy in the following steps :-
Step 1 :
As per Para 8 (i) of the Cadre Allocation Policy, first, all those candidates who can be
allocated against the insider vacancies available in their category would be so allocated.
