A Series of Firsts: A Study of Genesis 1-11
Led by Pastor Paul Borgman ~ Room #204
Genesis 1-11 is controversial in many ways. It is "a series of firsts": the first people, the first sin,
the first murder, the first flood. In these chapters, God will set the stage for the drama we call
history. It helps us to understand who we are, why we are here, and where we are going. Think
about it: that's a mighty big order!
Gifts of the Spirit
Led by Pastor Steve and Cathie Geske ~ Room #201
What is a spiritual gift? How can I know for sure which of these gifts God has entrusted to me to
use? I know I have a certain gift, but how can it be used in God's kingdom? Have any of these
questions ever crossed your mind? If so, you may be interested in our class on spiritual gifts. We
will traverse through the scriptures and look at the gifts God gives his people and how these gifts
can be used in His church. Some of the gifts we will discuss: administration, evangelism,
intercessory prayer, miracles, teaching, prophecy, tongues, wisdom and more. Come and learn
what great gifts God has given you and how you can use them to His Glory!
