there have been plenty of opportunities for
alumni to reconnect with other alumni and
with the University.
The fall promises to be just as exciting,
with a calendar of events that offers something
for everyone. We’ll tour the Norton Simon
be on couples who met at Biola. We’ll also
honor the “Golden Eagles,” our 50-year grads
Then, June 5–15, 2009, we’ll offer what we
believe could be the trip of a lifetime: Israel
with President Barry H. Corey. Scripture will
truly come alive as you see the settings of so
much of the biblical narrative, and we’ll have
Biola faculty on hand to help make the most of
each day’s touring. Biola is partnering with
Inspiration Cruises and Tours — seasoned
experts when it comes to travel in Israel — to
make the most of this opportunity to see the
land of the Bible from a perspective that is both
scholarly and devotional. If you’ve always
wanted to see the land of Israel, there really is
no better time than now! – Sue Kimber
