All who are addicted to riot and excess, to drunkenness and gluttony,
to extravagant pleasures, to inactivity and slothfulness; in short and in
sum, all who are influenced by indolence, intemperance, and disorderly
passions, by which life is prostrated and abridged, are murderers.
