Eleanor Sahhar Bazuzi,
91, died peacefully at home
Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, in
Glen Allen, Va., after a brief
illness. A memorial service
was held Saturday, Nov. 20,
2010 at Bliley’s-Staples Mill,
8510 Staples Mill Rd. In lieu

Alma Miles Berry, 85, of
Mechanicsville, passed away
on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at
Hanover Health Care. She
was born May 12, 1925 in
King William, Va., on the
Pamunkey Indian Reservation.
She was the daughter
of the late Junius and Juliet
Miles. She retired from the
American Tobacco Company
after 19 years of service.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Herbert F.
Berry; and sister, Audrey M.
Bryan. She leaves to cherish
her memory two daughters,
Thelma Childress Sutton and
husband, Chris, of New Kent
and Mary “Lois” Snyder of
Philadelphia; two stepsons,
Richard Berry and wife, Sharon,
of Varina and Thomas
Berry and wife, Carolyn, of
Chesterfield; eight grandchildren,
19 great-grandchildren
and two great-great-grandchildren;
two sisters, Mildred
Moore of King William and
Louise Pasko of Chesapeake;
and one brother, Donald
Miles of Philadelphia. A
memorial service was held
on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at
the Pamunkey Indian Baptist
Church, on the Pamunkey
Indian Reservation in King
William, Va. Graveside services
were held at the church
cemetery.

Our family was blessed here
on earth with our beautiful
Isabella Marie Bruce who
was born Oct. 22, 2009. We
shared one year, 18 days and
18 hours of her precious life
until God decided to bless our
angel, Isabella, with her wings
Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010. She is
survived by her father, Daniel
Bruce of Mechanicsville, Va.;
mother, Anne Shatil of Lauderhill,
Fla.; sisters, Victoria

Va., Alexandra Faulkner
of Richmond, Va.; brother,
Nathaniel Faulkner of Richmond,
Va.; aunts, Brittany

and Trinity Wall of Mechanicsville,
Va.; uncle, Robbie

Va., and Daniel Cregar of
Richmond, Va.; grandmothers,
Stephanie Ann Jackson of

Ann Gladding Carreras,
73, of Richmond, passed
away on Nov. 14, 2010. She
was a beloved and devoted
mother and grandmother.
As a faithful servant of the
Lord and intercessory prayer,
she witnessed to the Lord’s
love and mercy even to the
end of her life. Born on April
21, 1937 in Maryland, Ann
was the daughter of the late
Tobe and Agnes Gladding
of Tappahannock. She was
a graduate of St. Margaret’s
School and Pan American
Business School. She retired
from Saxon Mortgage, where
she worked as a receptionist.
She is survived by two daughters,
Sharon Harris of Palmyra
and Sheila Gee of Richmond;
their husbands, Carter Harris
and Thomas Gee Jr.; four

Nov. 20, 2010.
William N. Chisholm
Jr., 86, of Glen Allen, went to
be with his Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Nov.
16, 2010. He was preceded
in death by his loving wife of
55 years, Jeanette M. Chisholm;
and his best friend,
“Shorty.” He is survived by his
two sons, Warren Chisholm
(Susan), William N. Chisholm
III; and his daughter,
