Creating and relating use cases<br />

Creating a use case or<br />

composite use case<br />

Creating an extends<br />

relationship<br />

To create a use case or composite use case:<br />

1 In the UML Use Case Diagram Tools tool folder, click and hold<br />

on the Use Case tool or Composite Use Case tool.<br />

2 Drag into your use case diagram window and release the mouse<br />

button where you want to place the use case or composite use<br />

case graphic.<br />

3 Type a name for the use case or composite use case. Then click<br />

on the window background to close the edit box.<br />

To create an extends relationship:<br />

1 In the UML Use Case Diagram Tools tool folder, click and hold<br />

on the Extends tool.<br />

2 Move your cursor to the extending use case and release the<br />

mouse button. Then click on the extended use case.
