Paragraphs<br />

About paragraphs Paragraphs are the information-bearing components of a report.<br />

They identify the objects to be reported on as well as the format of<br />

the information presented. Each paragraph in a report must be<br />

part of a preface, chapter, or section. The report itself cannot<br />

directly contain paragraphs.<br />

General paragraph<br />

information<br />

Each paragraph <strong>with</strong>in a preface, chapter, or section is connected to<br />

the paragraphs that precede and follow it. Only the first paragraph<br />

is directly connected to the preface, chapter, or section itself.<br />

<strong>FrameWork</strong> supplies a variety of paragraph types. The type you<br />

assign to a paragraph determines the format of the paragraph<br />

information in the generated Document report. It also determines<br />

what additional information you need to provide about the<br />

paragraph.<br />

In addition to the paragraph name, you can supply the following<br />

information for all types of paragraphs:<br />

■ A title. The title can be the same as or similar to the paragraph<br />

name. <strong>FrameWork</strong> uses the paragraph title as the heading for<br />
