Paragraphs
About paragraphs Paragraphs are the information-bearing components of a report.
They identify the objects to be reported on as well as the format of
the information presented. Each paragraph in a report must be
part of a preface, chapter, or section. The report itself cannot
directly contain paragraphs.
General paragraph
information
Each paragraph within a preface, chapter, or section is connected to
the paragraphs that precede and follow it. Only the first paragraph
is directly connected to the preface, chapter, or section itself.
FrameWork supplies a variety of paragraph types. The type you
assign to a paragraph determines the format of the paragraph
information in the generated Document report. It also determines
what additional information you need to provide about the
paragraph.
In addition to the paragraph name, you can supply the following
information for all types of paragraphs:
■ A title. The title can be the same as or similar to the paragraph
name. FrameWork uses the paragraph title as the heading for
