WE-BIZPAD Forum for women entrepreneurs launched
This is a launch pad for business women to showcase
their products and services. Women entrepreneurs meet
regularly to interact and network and broaden their
horizons via this forum.
From time to time experts are invited to resolve/guide
women entrepreneurs on various issues pertaining to
business.
Industrial visit for Budding Businesswomen
An industrial visit was organized for a group of 20
women entrepreneurs. The two industries that were
visited were Vishwadeep Press parts Pvt. Ltd, run by Ms.
Anjali Sahasrabudhe, Director and Unitech Texmech Pvt.
Ltd run by Ms. Vrinda Bapat, Director.

Women Entrepreneurs’ Group for Industrial Visit
to Food Industry
Three women entrepreneurs from different fields were
invited. Ms. Zelam Chaubal Director, Kesari Tours Pvt.
Ltd., Ms. Priti Rao, Director, Pumpkin Patch School and
Child Day Care and Ms. Kamartaj Pathan, Owner, Fashion
Designing Institute shared their experience as
successful women entrepreneurs.

Seminar on 'Product Packaging with a Businesswomen's
Perspective
Mr. R. B. Soundalgekar, a mechanical engineer with 38
years of experience and expertise in plastics, packaging
and printing trained 12 women entrepreneurs on the
importance and ways of product packaging.
Meeting with Mr. M V Bhagat, Jt. Director of Industries,
District Industries Centre (DIC)
Mr. Bhagat interacted with women entrepreneurs on
various Government schemes available for MSMEs as
well as schemes enabling women entrepreneurs to
participate in international exhibitions at a concessional
rate. He highlighted procedures and rules for subsidy
applications. 50 women entrepreneurs attended the
meeting.
Industrial Visit to Food Industry viz. Desai Brothers
Limited (Mother's recipes) and Sohum Udhyog
The visit was organized for women entrepreneurs to look
at the operational and organizational set up of food
industry. 18 women entrepreneurs participated in this
industrial visit.
International Women Day Celebration

International women's day was celebrated on 7 March.
Smt. Sindhutai Sapkal was guest speaker for this
function. Mrs. Manisha Dugad, proprietor, Lotus Khakra
and Dr. Swati Vitonde, Nectar Technologies presented
case study of their companies. 150 women attended this
program. 20 women entrepreneurs exhibited their
products/ services at the exhibition on the occasion.

Satish Magar, Mr. Deepak Karandikar, Mr. Arun Kudale

• During the year 2011-2012, 42 Members, 528
Associates and 4 Members of the Committees (Total:
574) were added. 11 members & 35 Associates (Total
46 #'s) were also re-associated during the year.
